Michael Bonning is the Regional Executive for CompassCare, a not-for-profit pro-life ministry in New York State that serves women considering abortion. CompassCare provides women with free ethical medical care and comprehensive community support, in addition to the life-transforming truth of the gospel.

Michael says he is “passionate about the people of God living out their convictions and demonstrating their pro-life beliefs.” That’s exactly what happened when CompassCare was firebombed by pro-abortion domestic terrorists in June of 2022. During that time, Michael saw God’s power and provision firsthand. By God’s grace and with the overwhelming support of God’s people, the Buffalo office was rebuilt, restored, and reopened in just 52 days. It now reaches and serves more women and saves more babies than ever before.

Michael and Mary Kate have three beautiful children. He serves as an elder and worship leader at Northgate Buffalo.
