For most of his 30 years in missions, Gary was the VP of Human Resources and Recruiting for Engineering Ministries International. In that role, Gary focused on leading project teams in more than 40 countries and raising up staff for new EMI offices worldwide, with a vision toward the next generation.

Through his book If You Must Stay and as a speaker in churches, mission conferences, and seminars, Gary’s passion is to inspire people to find their fit in God’s plan to reach the world. He helps individuals and teams work through the discovery process of the various pieces of the puzzle of their lives and to “find their fit” through their unique God-given gifts, talents, and stories.
