Sharon Ganesh is from Toronto. Her passion for the arts (especially music, singing, and poetry), led her to major in music at the University of Toronto. For years Sharon worked in artist management, media promotions, marketing, and events planning in the mainstream music and film industry. Despite her success, Sharon says she “was in a dark place, spiritually and emotionally.” That’s when God graciously led her to Jesus, the “Light” at the end of a dark and lonely tunnel. For several years after coming to Christ, Sharon served as the managing and executive director at MissionFest Toronto. Then, she was inspired by God to step out of her comfort zone to begin singing publicly and leading worship. She has now ministered in a variety of churches across Southern Ontario, including Light of the World Ministries, Agincourt Baptist, and Minden Bible Church. She is no stranger to Church on the Beach! Sharon has attended several times in the past, but this is her first experience leading worship here.
