Rick Osborne didn’t start out to be a bad boy, but by the time he turned 20 he was already considered to be one of Canada’s most dangerous men. Rick spent almost 25 years in prisons across Canada, most notably Kingston Penitentiary, on charges pertaining to robbery, weapons violations, drugs, and everything “gang related.” Rick grew up just a few minutes from Crystal Beach in Niagara Falls, ON. He was harshly bullied as a boy but was determined to be tough. “Real men don’t cry,” was the motto he lived by. “I was a very, very bad person.” Eventually bad enough to have a contract put out on him by a rival gang. He was moved to maximum security and faced a very uncertain future until Jesus changed everything. Upon release, Osborne founded Truth 4 Teens. Today he speaks in schools and organizations across Canada. “I want kids to know the Truth,” he said. “The fact that I survived is why I do what I do.”
